We are absolutely delighted at finally tasted one of Malacca most famous food delicacy, the Hainanese chicken rice ball. Though we are not new to Hainanese chicken rice, the Hainanese rice ball always split open to a very nice fragrance and the fish-ball-size big rice ball definitely make it a lot easier to enjoy with the juicy chicken. Before you realise it, you would have down a few balls! There are no shortages of chicken rice ball stalls, we highly recommend the nostalgic coffee-shop-like stall, Chung Wah Hainanese Chicken Rice Shop. It is located just before the entrance of Jonker Street. It operates till 5pm only and is always crowded. Queue time is not long as people just come and go after a very satisfactory meal. It is definitely worth waiting for!
